
Jean-Marie KAMGA
Consultant, Manager and Founder
Consultant in Oilfields Development and Petroleum Engineering, Jean-Marie has more than Thirty (30) years of experience in hydrocarbon Exploration and Production. Throughout his professional career, he has successfully held various positions, thanks to his multidisciplinary skills.
From 1980 to 1992, he is Head of Production Operations on ELF Serepca offshore facilities in Cameroon, then from 1993 to 2006, Reservoir Engineer in charge of Reservoir Management and Petrophysics logs acquisition and analysis at Total E&P Cameroon.

In 2007, he is assigned at the Jean Feger Scientific and Technical Centre (CSTJF TOTAL SA) in Pau, France. During his stay at CSTJF, he took part as COORDINATOR, in many “RESERVOIR MANAGEMENT” studies for Total subsidiaries (Angola, Congo, Indonesia, Scotland, and Nigeria). He also acts as a trainer to ease the integration of young engineers within subsidiaries.
From 2012 to 2018, he held the position of SUBSURFACE/GEOSCIENCES Deputy Manager at Perenco Cameroon, in charge of Petroleum Engineering and Geological operation Departments, and the coordination of technical meetings with partners.

Jean-Marie was trained in Reservoir Engineering in France, at ENSPM (Higher National School of Oil and Engines, nowadays called IFP School), and at the Jean-Feger Scientific and Technical Centre in Pau. He is a graduate of University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, of IAE Paris-Business School, and of IFG Executive Education Paris.
During his career, he part take, in the training and integration of many technicians and engineers (Operations, Production, and Reservoir) at Elf, TotalEnergies and Perenco. Since 2019, he is a consultant, Manager/Founder of JEMAKAM training center, and Professional Teacher of Universities.
